Re: Ideas for nice things to eat after wisdom tooth extraction
Lokelani, I am the biggest dentist coward I know and I can honestly say that having the wisdom tooth out was a doddle. I have all sorts of medical problems but hospital wasn't even considered even though I'm on blood thinners. Had to have three injections to be numb enough but I didn't feel a thing ...

Re: Ideas for nice things to eat after wisdom tooth extraction
I had one out a couple of months ago and the dentist was pretty prescriptive. No hot food or drink for 24 hours, no alcohol, especially no rice because the grains get really stuck. I think they gave me a list but it’s been binned by now.

Re: Beverages
That's interesting. I don't find the Fevertree Mediterranean light sweet at all. Far preferable to the ordinary. I hate sweet drinks and I particularly hate anything that tastes predominantly of Stevia.

Are the Picard pastries now in M&S Sue? I ask because Ocado have done them for some time.

I like the rhubarb too. Some of the Fevertree mixers are great on their own as well.

I think they are a bit hit and miss BB. You were lucky as the one in St Alban’s isn’t great. Be interesting to see what York is like.

Re: Where have you eaten out today?
A bit hit and miss on a workday I think. There are about 20 general spaces through the arch and round the back but there are also some dedicated spaces for other shops so you have to be a bit careful. Otherwise it's hit and miss out on the main road. We had no problems at 1pm yesterday (Bank Hol) bu...

Re: Where have you eaten out today?
Brasserie Blanc Beaconsfield. Absolutely brilliant. More or less the same menu as they do in what was the White Brasserie but is now something else. I had cheese soufflé and a Devon crab with mayo and frites. L went for crab bon-bons and a veggie risotto. Price including service was £51.40. Bargain ...

My tipples of choice were vodka and gin. Red wine if I was out with friends and not driving.

Re: What are you eating today?
I think the difference these days is that at least a third of your plate needs to be super free food, or whatever they call it. I don’t remember that from last time I went. They’ve also changed quite a lot of stuff that was previously free, like yogurts and stuff. My main problem is the massive suga...

Salmon fillet, asparagus, samphire, new potatoes.
Earlier: white chocolate cookie, ham salad
Strawberries, figs, 0% Greek yogurt.
I don’t understand why people think Slimming World is carb heavy. Long gone are the Red and Green Days.
